FormAssist USA is a non-lawyer immigration document preparation service. We are not a law firm, and we do not provide legal services of any kind. Our services are limited strictly to assisting clients in preparing immigration forms and organizing supporting documentation for submission to U.S. government agencies, including U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

At FormAssist USA, we assist individuals in representing themselves in immigration matters. Our role is to help streamline and simplify the administrative process of preparing immigration petitions and applications so clients may submit completed documents on their own behalf.

Clients who use our services are considered “pro se” individuals, meaning they are representing themselves without legal counsel.

No Legal Advice

FormAssist USA, its owners, employees, and representatives:

  • Are not attorneys licensed to practice law in Texas or any other jurisdiction

  • Do not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal interpretations

  • Do not represent clients in court, before USCIS, or in any legal proceedings

  • Do not determine eligibility for immigration benefits

  • Do not advise on legal rights, remedies, strategies, or outcomes

Any communication, whether oral, written, or electronic, should not be interpreted as legal advice.

If you require legal advice, you should consult with a qualified immigration attorney licensed in Texas or another appropriate jurisdiction.

Nature of Services

FormAssist USA provides client-directed document preparation services only. Our services include:

  • Completing immigration forms based solely on information provided by the client

  • Assisting with document organization and filing preparation

  • Providing translation services (if applicable)

  • Reviewing forms for spelling, grammar, completeness, and internal consistency only

We do not evaluate legal sufficiency, interpret laws, or apply legal analysis to your case.

Client Responsibility

By using our services, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information you provide

  • You are responsible for reviewing all completed documents before submission

  • You are responsible for maintaining your own immigration case and communications with USCIS

  • You must keep your address updated with USCIS and monitor all correspondence from government agencies

  • FormAssist USA does not receive or manage official government notices on your behalf

No Guarantee of Outcomes

FormAssist USA makes no guarantees, warranties, or assurances regarding:

  • Approval of any immigration petition or application

  • Issuance of visas or immigration benefits

  • Processing times or government decisions

All immigration decisions are made solely at the discretion of U.S. government agencies.

Limitations of Liability

FormAssist USA assumes no responsibility or liability for:

  • Denials, delays, or requests for evidence issued by USCIS or other agencies

  • Errors resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or incorrect information provided by the client

  • Any damages arising from the use of our services

Once services have been rendered and payment has been made, no refunds or credits will be issued, regardless of outcome.

Translations and Document Assistance

If translation services are provided:

  • Translations are completed to the best of our ability and certified as accurate

  • We comply with general USCIS requirements for certified translations

  • We do not provide legal validation of foreign documents or their admissibility

Clients are responsible for ensuring their documents meet all applicable requirements.

Texas Compliance Notice

FormAssist USA operates in compliance with applicable Texas laws governing immigration document assistance providers. We do not engage in the unauthorized practice of law (UPL) as defined under Texas law, and we do not hold ourselves out as attorneys, law firms, or legal representatives.

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Use of FormAssist USA services does not create an attorney-client relationship, fiduciary relationship, or any form of legal representation.

All services are strictly administrative and informational in nature.

Acknowledgment

By engaging FormAssist USA and signing any service agreement, you acknowledge that:

  • You understand we are a non-lawyer document preparation service

  • You are choosing to represent yourself (pro se)

  • You have not relied on us for legal advice

  • You accept full responsibility for your immigration case and filings

  • You understand the limitations of the services provided

Recommendation

Because immigration matters are complex and outcomes vary, you are encouraged to consult with a licensed immigration attorney in Texas if you have questions regarding your legal rights, eligibility, or case strategy.
